Before we begin our test fit, we will first need to obtain the hitch height of our vehicle. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. The hitch height of our vehicle is 20-1/4". Keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to hitch style, tire size, or other after-market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. more

Now to begin our test fit in the drop position, well simply slide the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, and turn the integrated key lock to bring out the pins located in the shank of the ball mount to secure it to the hitch. Now with the ball mount secured to the hitch we can use the key to raise and lower the ball platform of the ball mount, and also have the ability to switch it over to use the other size ball. more

Today on our 2012 Ford F150, were going to be test fitting the Anderson Adjustable Rapid Hitch, part number AM3410. But before we can test fit our ball mount, first we want to measure the hitch height of our truck. To measure the hitch height well measure from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Our hitch height measures 18-1/2 inches. To test fit our ball mount kit well inert it into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up the hitch pin holes and secure it with the pin and clip. We have the ball set at the highest configuration. more

To measure the hitch hike, we'll measure from the ground to the inside top edge of our receiver tube. Our hitch hike measures 18-1/2 inches. To test our ball mount, first we're going to mount it in the drop position. We'll insert the shank of the ball-mount into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll add the hitch pin holes and secure the ball mount with a pin and clip. more
